Project 1: Stream diversion pool

A small project element working with 450mm twin-wall pipe to create a concealed overflow from a small pool created to divert the stream water safely past the main swimming lake project below.

One of many test runs working with large diameter buoyant twin-wall pipe, attempting to fit, weigh down with  dumpy bags of drainage stone before the pool fills in a matter of a minute or two.

Finally installed, the large twin-wall pipe is secured in place with carefully selected large boulders and surrounded by several tonnes of 40mm drainage stone. A final capping stone will cover the visible opening to complete the stonework.

Project 2: Concealed swimming lake pipework outflow

A complex lake outflow pipework installation including a preform concrete slab to mount the pond pumps, ducting to run the services back up the bank and  a 110mm siphon pipe to drain the lake for maintenance – all to be concealed in a wide trench with boulder-work to hold in place.
